Mike and I got the opportunity to spend a couple days up in Worland. It was tons of fun!
Tuesday:
Got to Worland about four in the afternoon. Had a delicious dinner of Tri-tip and then spent the rest of the evening playing Ticket to Ride :) Kaytee managed to win EVERYTIME that night!!
Wednesday:
We started off with a traditional Croft breakfast that was all new to Mike and had Dutch Baby. It was amazingly delicious. If I'm cooking, its mainly dinner, so it was so nice to have all these fancy breakfasts :)
Then we headed out to check out places for the Croft-Chapman Wedding :) First stop was at the TenSleep golf course. It did have some kinda pretty places, but Mike and I had decided that this really wasn't what we were looking for. It also had TONS of deerflies that kept biting!! OW!!
Then, the guy who was showing us around asked if we wanted to take the golf carts to see other parts of the course :) Didn't matter we had decided against it, we wanted to ride those golf carts. Kaytee even got to drive one!
Though the course was a bit bumpy, so the entire time wasn't this perfect little smile. I caught mom at the best time in this next picture.
That was about it for the golf course, though the golf carts were fun, it was not where we wanted to get married. We looked at a couple other places but none of them was really what I was thinking.
Finally, we stumbled onto the perfect place, without even planning on it.
I love how these trees just bend over and make the perfect natural arch! And the grounds are so green and gorgeous and well kept, and the bugs were even at a minimum.
Now I know your asking yourself where this gorgeous place could be. Well, here's a hint....
The Fish Hatchery! I know it seems weird, but as you can see from those previous pictures that it is so pretty. Only problem is that we are not sure that we can have a wedding there, so mom is looking into it since she knows the wife of the guy who runs the place. So hopefully its ok.
So after discovering the place to have the wedding, we went back to Worland, took naps and then headed out to a Bi-Ward dinner, so Mike really got to meet everybody!! Then we went to see the movie Wall-e, which is totally worth it and I think everyone should go!!
Thursday:
Started out with another fabulous breakfast, and then Mike taught Kaytee how to change a flat tire that was on the Suzuki. We are getting it all fixed up so that Kaytee can cruise around in it :)
What a good big brother he is going to be! Makes me so happy :) :)
So now the Suzuki is in the shop getting the tire all fixed up (And the muffler!)
Now we take some good time to relax. Mike and I want to play Ticket to Ride again so we drag it out during lunch. However, Kaytee does not win this time, but Mike does! He's very excited and convinced that since he is on a winning streak he is done for the day. So we head down to Lander for the best fireworks ever!
Now this next shot is no joke. He had the whole sky lit up and just solid with these fireworks! It was so cool :)
Friday:
Started out with delicious Breakfast Burritos with Grandma and Ralph joining us as well. Then we pack up and head home back to Laramie.
It was a really fun trip and I am so glad that Mike and I got to spend time up in Worland :) :) :)
