Puppy at One Week

Hooray! The camera has been fixed and the newest addition to Brody's photo collection is here! These are the pups at about ten days old. And they are so very cute! In about a week and a half his eyes will open and then he really starts growing. And about then I will get to start narrowing down which one that I really want to join me out here in Wyoming :)

My New Place

So sadly Brody's breeder dropped the camera and it broke! So that's why it has been a while since I posted a cute little picture of my pup. However, I decided I'll just give a little update on my life without a puppy picture. (Crazy, I know!)

I am in the process of steadily moving into my new place. Just so you know, my new address is 315 Fetterman, Laramie, WY 82070. It's a house and my roommate Jezzy and I live in the upstairs and her brother lives downstairs. Jezzy already has a dog. Her name is Measure and Jezzy got her from a pound when she lived out in California. She is a Pit Bull-Boxer mix, is one year-old and is very well behaved. Hopefully that will rub off on my little puppy. And it does make me happy that he will have a friend to play with.


Jezzy and I want to get a little exercise pen type thing to put in the dining area (on the hardwood floors in case of accidents!) That way they can have some good times together when both Jezzy and I are out of the house. Here are some pretty cute pictures of her. It's hard to get a picture of her cuz she is quite energetic :)


I should be completely moved in within the next few weeks. I'm not really rushing it at the moment. Hopefully I will remember to take a picture of the new place so you can see how cute it is. I really really do like it!

As for work, I start working days again this Saturday, February 2nd. I will be working over on the General Merchandise side of the store and be on the ICS team. Pretty much that means that I will spend my days working freight and doing whatever little projects management dreams up for me. It is a pay cut because I will be leaving nights, but it is totally worth it. Not only will school be easier, but it will nice to get to see Mike more than just twice a week.

Sadly, I did not get the job at the Animal Hospital that I really had my eye on, so I am hitting the want ads and looking again. However, pretty much the only jobs available here that are not in the fast food industry I need a CDL or a CNA or at least experience. So I am continually looking through the want ads, hoping to see something as soon as it opens. I did apply at Staples so I am hoping they will contact me and that will work out, but who knows?

Brody is Born! (For Reals This Time!)

My little bundle of joy is born for reals this time! He was born on January 20th. This litter is a bit different than the last, if you notice the coats are a darker color. I am quite the fan of that, I think it's much cuter!

I am not yet sure when he will be coming home to live with me. I am in the middle of trying to find a new job, and so depending on what days that job can give me off will determine the exact date. However, it will be sometime between Sunday March 9th, and that Saturday the 15th. Hopefully earlier because I am getting just a tad antsy to have my little guy :)

Puppy Eyes Open

The puppies are now about three weeks old and have their eyes all open and moving around. My puppy Brody is due on the 24th and hopefully won't really be any later. I am getting so antsy! I just can't wait!

Pups at Ten Days

So I know that I am posting TONS of pictures of these puppies, but they are so CUTE! And I am so excited for my pup that I just can't help but show off how adorable mine will be. These are the puppies at ten days old. They are growing so fast! (At least to me they look that way!)

Change in Puppy Plans

So originally, I was going to be getting my puppy out of a litter from Gracie and Rex. However, at first it had appeared that Gracie did not get pregnant so I switched and was going to receive my pup from Maggie. Well as things progressed, turns out that Gracie IS pregnant! Hooray! However, she is not due to have the pups until January 24th. He will then be flown out to me around the second week of March.

However, I will at least show some adorable pictures that my breeder sent me.





So in about three weeks my new puppy will be born and then more cute Vizsla puppy pictures will be posted.

Brody is Born!

Brody was born last night a few minutes before midnight. So now we get to celebrate his birthday on New Years Eve! Looks as though he will be flown out to me on February 22nd. That will be so much fun because I plan on using my Vacation Time and taking three or four days off work and just spend time with him.



He is one of these little puppies. His mother Maggie had 2 females and 5 males. The picture looks a little weird cuz they have a red heat light on them, but either way, they are sooooo adorable! When he is about three days old he will get his tail docked and his dew claws clipped. Sounds painful but since a puppies nervous system isn't fully developed for another week, he will pretty much go straight back to suckling away.
