On the last night that Mike and I were in Vegas, we went out for a drive down the strip. He put down the convertable top and I got to see the strip in style :)
I was trying to snap tons of pictures, but that's really hard with actually driving so a bunch of them came out pretty blurry, but I did get some really good ones
Even McDonalds was done up Vegas Style!!
The next morning before Mike and I left, the Strazzo fam came over and we all got to hang out some more. Jackson was having tons of fun in the backyard kicking the rocks around. Since Brody is such a weird dog, he was having fun trying to catch the rocks Jackson was kicking at him. J LOVED this! :)
And of course he's swinging around his new Thomas toy that Uncle Mike got him :) :)

Thunderbird Museum
So we got to spend a few hours at the Thunderbird Museum! It was such a blast. Cassidy had found this cute little flight suit for James that we got to wear around. He was a very cute little pilot :)
Mike felt like a kid in a candy store. He LOVES airplanes and being on base getting to watch the planes take off and land was heaven for him. Just look at his cute, goofy grin
They had the Thunderbirds all out on the runway getting ready because they had a show they needed to fly off to.
And since we were out on the Flight Line, there were many other types of planes taking off. Mike LOVED seeing all those, so we got tons of cool pictures of them too. This first picture is of an F-22
Then this is an F-15 landing
And now for something completely different....
We got back and had bought these cute little penguins. One for James and one for Nolan, but we couldn't wait and gave James his already (don't be jealous Nolan)

Fun Times in Vegas
Well Mike, Brody and I are down here in Vegas enjoying the gorgeous weather and fun times with Cassidy and her fam. So we've taken like ten thousand pictures already, and better start putting them up here for all you guys to see!!
To start with, here is the skyline of the city as we were driving in to town. (The smogginess didn't look TOO bad at this point)
And then of course we put James into a cute photo shoot! This little "hat" is one of his little toys that just fit his on his head so perfectly!!
We also took a fabulous walk to the park nearby Cassidy's place. It was the most amazing park I have ever seen! There were several ponds with ducks and turtles and Canadian Geese. There is also a waterfall that was a perfect place for some pictures :)
The ponds also had bunches and bunches of these little turtles. So of course, we took tons more pictures
One of the things that was sooooooo wonderful was how Brody is around James. James was poking and prodding and pulling, but Brody just layed there.
Next was the St. Patrick's Day party!! I had never had Corned Beef and Cabbage, but it was soooooo delicious! I was very very happy cuz it was an amazing dinner :)
After dinner we had to try on these little St. Patrick's Day hats. Of course I put Brody in the hat, which was adorable!!
Isa was NOT at all liking this idea of putting this headband on her head! But with a couple pieces of corned beef we were able to convince her to hold it on her head long enough to snap a few photos.
We got to go to the best dog park I have ever been to. Brody did really really well, which made me happy that he was able to socialize with so many other dogs pretty well. The only problem arose when he decided to take another dog's ball. He always thinks he can just take things from other dogs and this dog sure wasn't going to let him!
Luckily, Brody found lots of other dogs that he wasn't annoying to play with :) There was this greyhound there who LOVED to run just as much as Brody so they were just tearing through the park chasing eachother.
So after the busy and fun days we have had so far (We also spent time at the Thunderbird Museum, but this post is getting LONG! So those will be in my next post) But Mike and James and fun male bonding time cuddling on the couch

Gift Registry
Realizing that we now have less than three months till the wedding we decided that we really needed to get going on this registering thing. So the two places that we decided to register were at Wal-Mart and at Crate & Barrel.
So Mike and I enjoyed wandering around Wal-Mart today with a little scanner gun picking things that we wanted to register for. Only obnoxious thing is about everytime I turned around Mike was randomly scanning something and giggling about it! He just likes being really really obnoxious and thinks he is SOOOOOO funny!
So when you see any thing ridiculous on the list, just know that Mike thinks he is just hysterical :)
(The Hannah Montana Calendar was in no way my idea!!)

Happy Valentine's Day
Well Valentines wasn't too super exciting since I got to work, and even though it was just Dollar Tree, it was still soooo crazy!! We sold almost 200 balloons that day! (Since we are very lightly staffed, that's pretty intense)
When I came home, a wonderful magic elf had washed all the dishes (Hooray for roommate!)
Mike and I had a delicious Steak dinner and had a relaxing night together.
And then of course, Brody got in the mood for Valentines as well :)
I found this super cute little Bow-Tie for him
Can't you see how much he loves it??

Double Post
I'm just a little behind in getting all my posts up, so this post covers two very different events in January :)
First let's start with the fabulous birthday day that we had this year. On January 20th Brody turned 1 year old. He had a very fun filled day full of playing with his best dog friend Toby as the weather was gorgeous (50 degrees). Since it was so warm they got to play outside all day.
Then he got the most amazing and delicious dinner. It was this really fancy pouch dog food that actually comes in a very large pouch (13 ounces) which was full of veggies and meat and rice. He LOVED it :)
And we can't forget the cute little hat. I couldn't find an actual 'Happy Birthday' Hat, so instead, he's wearing a hat with Mater on it. He was gettting lots of treats for wearing this, so he didn't complain at all :)
Next was my exciting day in Surgery! But don't worry, I wasn't the one going under the knife, but the one holding it (well maybe that could make some people worry).
In my Animal Physiology class we get to implant a rat with a transmitter so I can keep track of its internal temperature over the next month. My cute little rat's name is Petey (short for Patricia) and she was a very good patient.
I weighed her to determine the amount of anestetics she was getting and then shave her belly where the inscision was going to be.
The only part my stomach did some little flips was the very first inscision, but after that I was good. I cut through the skin and then the muscle and poked the trasmitter in. The transmitter was a lot bigger than I had first expected. It looked a lot like quite a large macadamian nut. I tied it to a muscle, which seemed weird, but the TA said that otherwise when I go in to retireve it in a month I won't be able to find it. Then I stitched back up the muslce, then the skin and she was good to go.
You can see the gorgeous stitching job that I did. I definitely have a new respect for surgeons. I was bent over that thing for an hour and it was not only stressful but extremely hard on my back. I don't know how those guys go in for like 8-hour surgeries.
On the very positive side, the next day in class my teacher said that all the rats were doing fine and running around like normal, so she lived! I made it through my first surgery!
