Monterey Bay Aquarium Pt. 2
So it is looking like the Monterey Bay Aquarium will end up in four parts. I just took hundreds of pictures and I want to share them all! So I'm trying to just post my favorites, but that is still a ton of pictures.
So with that intro, here is the second installment of images and fun aquarium stuff :)
Here is Jami and J looking into one of the largest tanks which is called the Outer Bay. This is where they have the sharks and the really big tuna and that type of stuff.
This was just fascinating! This is a big case of Squid eggs. So cool
I love looking at all the Jellyfish that they had there. There is just something about them that is so mesmerizing.
These were really cool Jellyfish. I loved their crazy mixes of color. They are called Egg Yolk Jellyfish
I stepped out onto a little pier outside and was enjoying to see the waves and watching the fog and then out in the bay there was a pod of dolphins! Just swimming right out there :)
There were these amazing touch-pools with so much cool stuff in them. Here J is 'petting' a starfish
And here J is touching one of the Kelp leaves with the help of Uncle Mike
These are some weird fish that are related to a squid. They're called Cuttle Fish

Monterey Bay Aquarium Pt. 1 - The Secret Lives of Seahorses
So I took like tons and tons and tons of pictures at the aquarium so I decided it might be a bit easier if I split this up.
Well it started off really foggy. Which Mike and I thought was pretty cool, because we get our mountain fog here but it's nothing like the ocean fog down there.
When we first entered the aquarium they had this cool seahorse exhibition called "The Secret Lives of Seahorses" which I am dedicating this first post to
They had the really cute baby seahorses that were at the perfect height for Jackson to peek into
There was this Seahorse that they had for people to stand around and take pictures with. The creepy part is that it's a male seahorse giving birth!
Nolan had lots of fun with his Uncle Mike!
