Well the time is drawing extremely close for Brody to be joining me! Jezzy and I are headed out Saturday morning to go pick him up. The apartment is just about all cleaned and puppy proofed, his crate has his bowls, bedding and a few toys. He has already had his first shots and in the morning I am headed to the vets to set up an appointment to get him checked over once he gets here and then make an appointment for his next round of shots. I've got the puppy food, treats, brush, nail trimmer, collar, leash, dewormer, and shampoo. And he has soooooo many different toys to play with that I think he might get some disorder of indecisiveness because all of them are so much fun he wont know what to do!
Now for something completely different, my Biology lab was pretty fun tonight and we got to disect a roundworm and a crayfish. Also, we had some live leeches that we were observing and our TA let one feed off his finger so we could watch what it looked like when it was eating. Very cool.

Saltwater Tank
So I decided to bust out my camera and get some way cool pictures of my saltwater fish tank. I've had this tank about a year and a half so it has gotten pretty well established. I have several fish and TONS of random life growing in this tank.
These are the Mushroom Coral that randomly started growing one day about a year ago, and they are doing really well. Just to the left of them you can see one of my Margarita snails in its purple shell.
This is my Yellow Clown Goby Cap''m' and yes, I know his name is completely not grammatically correct, but its ok. He's come to terms with it :) He does not have a swim bladder so he often sucks to the side of the glass, especially to let me know he is hungry!
This here is Franky and he is the first saltwater fish that I ever got! He is a Firefish and very gorgeous. He is actually quite skittish though and will either dig little holes in the sand to hide in or find a great place in a rock to hide.
I have no idea what these things are! however, they started growing within the first week of me getting the aquarium and have established this little colony. All I can tell is that they pull in little bits of food with their tentacle thingies.
And this is Othello. He is a Black and White False Percula and is extremely protective of his tank. Especially if anything gets near his anemone! Whenever I clean the tank, I have him constantly attacking me, which doesn't hurt, but still drives me nuts!

Just Under Two Weeks to Go!
Here are the latest update on the adorable little puppies. They are now eating solid food and drinking water. I just can't believe that after all this waiting, he is only two weeks away!
Now for an update that doesn't include a puppy! Just the other day, Mike and I actually had the same day off work! We headed down to Fort Collins and spent the day there. We wandered artound the mall and he even put up with me wanting to go not only into the pet shop at the mall, but also into PetCo and two different PetsMarts! (Where I of course had to look at ALL the puppy stuff which was pretty much the exact same in all four stores, but still had to check it out!) I bought another two little chew toys for Brody. He will own quite the plethora of approved stuff to chew on when he gets here! So yeah, I made Mike take me to four pet stores, but we also did go into two different Best Buys and a couple of other electronic stores around town, so it evened out. We then had dinner at Old Chicago and watched NASCAR :) Then we went out and saw National Treasure 2. I really enjoyed the movie and it was just a great day :) :) :)

March 1st!
My new roomie Jezzy has convinced me that we should take a road trip out to go pick up Brody. This means that I can even get him a week earlier because before I had to wait for him to be old enough to fly. So Jezzy and I will be picking him up on March 1st! It's soooooo soon! Just over three weeks away and Jezzy and I are extremely excited. We are going through the house this next week being sure it all gets cleaned and then going through and puppy proofing it as well. Measure is about a year old so we have let a lot of stuff slide cuz she is such a good dog. But having a puppy, definately everything will need to be kept clean and out of harms way!

Two Little Boys and A Teeny Girl
Here is an adorable picture of two of the male pups. If you look at the one on the right, he is HUGE! I e-mailed the breeder saying that the big puppy is adorable, but I am definately more interested in the smaller pups in the litter.
This is the only little girl in the litter. She looks so small and sweet!
I can't wait for next week when the little tikes open their eyes! It's only five more weeks till Brody comes out here to live with me!
